Aortic Stenosis

This patient presents with complaints of increased breathlessness on exertion.

Please examine the patient and address any issues or concerns raised.

This was a case of Mr Cooper who is a man who for the last six or, so weeks has been suffering with increasing breathlessness particularly on exertion.
He has been struggling to walk around the golf course and maintain his
The breathlessness has been associated with a heaviness in the chest and he has also noticed at peak exertion some episodes of dizziness and one episode of a loss of consciousness.
On examination, there was an ejection systolic murmur which radiated to the carotid and there was a slow rising pulse centrally.
I believe this is all in keeping with a diagnosis of aortic stenosis.
