- This was a case of Mr Cooper who is a man who for the last six or, so weeks has been suffering with increasing breathlessness particularly on exertion.
- He has been struggling to walk around the golf course and maintain his
- The breathlessness has been associated with a heaviness in the chest and he has also noticed at peak exertion some episodes of dizziness and one episode of a loss of consciousness.
- On examination, there was an ejection systolic murmur which radiated to the carotid and there was a slow rising pulse centrally.
- I believe this is all in keeping with a diagnosis of aortic stenosis.
